Antoine Blettontwo-time MXP winner

The guide and explorer Jean Annequin, sponsor of this 2022 edition, will use his expertise to carry out the selected projects and in the best conditions. In 2020, for the last edition of the MXP, he had already given his advice for the three planned expeditions: the ascent of Mount Kenya by an all-female team, the exploration of new climbing lines in the Prokletije massif in Albania and Montenegro and on skis in Kluane National Park, Canada.

Unfortunately, the Covid crisis has experienced this. By adapting, the women of the Women’s Mountaineering Group of Savoie and Haute-Savoie (GAF 73-74) nevertheless managed to leave for Georgia in August 2021 to explore the Chaukhi massif and climb several peaks there . As for the Prokletije Expedition, it saw the group of young mountaineers from Isère set out to open great walls from August 2020, as planned.

The initiative’s ambition is to empower amateur adventurers to pursue their dreams. Until May 22 you can present your idea and hope to be one of the big winners of the MXPs.
