The CNJ will carry out an inspection in the administrative and judicial sectors of the Court of Justice of Paraíba between June 6 and 8, under the terms of Order No. 39/2022

ORDER N. 39, OF MAY 3, 2022.

Determines the execution of the inspection to verify the functioning of the administrative and judicial sectors of the Court of Justice and the extrajudicial services of the State of Paraíba.

THE CORREGEDORA OF NATIONAL JUSTICE, in the exercise of its legal and regimental attributions,

CONSIDERING the assignment to the Corregedoria Nacional de Justiça to carry out inspections to investigate facts related to the functioning of the judicial and auxiliary services, whether or not there is evidence of irregularities;

CONSIDERING the provisions of Articles 48 to 53 of the Internal Regulations of the National Council of Justice and Articles 45 to 59 of the General Regulations of the National Directorate of Justice;

CONSIDERING the duty of the National Department of Justice to ensure the improvement of judicial services, by inspecting the various units of the Judiciary and the services it supervises (art. 103-B, § 4, of the Federal Constitution);

DECIDED :

Art. 1 The inspection is instituted in the administrative and judicial sectors of the first and second degrees of jurisdiction of the Court of Justice and in the extrajudicial services of the State of Paraíba.

Art. 2. Designate June 6, 2022 as the inspection start date and June 8, 2022 as the end date.

Single paragraph. During the inspection – or following it, forensic work and/or procedural deadlines will not be suspended.

Art. 3° Determine that the inspection work is carried out from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and that, during this period, there is at least one employee in the sectors with knowledge to inform the inspection team.

Art. 4 Determine at the Office of the Ministry of National Justice the following measures:

  1. – address official letters to the President of the Court of Justice and to the Corregidor General of Justice of the State, inviting them to the inspection and requesting the following measures:

  1. organize the publication of this Order in the electronic Diário da Justiça and on the Court’s website, in a prominent place, from 26 May 2022; and

  2. make available at the administrative headquarters of the Court a room with a capacity of eight people seated, containing computers connected to the Internet and a printer, so that the documents and information collected during the inspection can be analysed, as well as a room for public service.

    II – send official letters to the Attorney General, the General Public Defender and the President of the OAB Section of the State of Paraíba, inviting them to accompany the inspection, if they are interested.

    Art. 5th Delegate the inspection of works (art. 49 of the RICNJ) to the following magistrates:

I – Judge Carlos Vieira von Adamek, of the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo, who will coordinate the inspection;

II – Judge Luís Paulo Aliende Ribeiro, of the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo

Paul;

III – Federal Judge Adriana Franco Mello Machado, of the Federal Regional Court of the 5th Region;

IV – Judge Carl Olav Smith, of the Court of Justice of the State of Rio Grande do Sul;

V – Federal Judge Diana Brunstein, of the Federal Regional Court of the 3rd Region;

VI – Judge Emerson Luis Pereira Cajango, of the Court of Justice of Mato Grosso;

VII – Judge Paulo Marcos de Farias, of the Santa State Court of Justice

Qatari;

VIII – Federal Judge Rafael Leite Paulo, of the Federal Regional Court of the 1st Region.

Art. 6th Assign servants Ana Paula Amaral Silva Hollas, Andrea Michelle do Carmo Alves, Eva Matos Pinho, Gustavo Fernandes de Souza Ribeiro do Valle, João Bosco Simões Oliveira, Letícia Campos Guedes Ourives, Luciano Rodrigues, Marcos Vinícius Rocha Nascimento, Ronaldo Vieira Baratz, and Silvia Maria Guapindaia Peixoto.

Art. 7 Determine the evaluation of this file as an inspection, which must be treated under judicial secrecy.

Art. 8 Determine the publication of this order in the Electronic Journal of Justice of the National Council of Justice.

Art. 9 This Ordinance comes into force on the date of its publication.
