Huawei scholarship for twelve undergraduate students at Graz University of Technology

As part of Huawei’s “Seeds for the Future” scholarship, the company is supporting twelve students from the Graz University of Technology.

Vienna/Graz (OTS) Global technology company Huawei supports ICT talent around the world to secure the young professionals of tomorrow. So also in Austria. As part of the “Seeds for the Future” scholarship, which supports local students with a total of 220,200 euros, twelve undergraduate students from the Graz University of Technology are also supported. “With our funding programs in Austria, we attach great importance to the fact that young people can enjoy their studies and not have to worry about financial difficulties. Start of applications: June 10
Starting tomorrow, Friday June 10 and until July 25 inclusive, newly admitted bachelor’s students starting their studies at TU Graz in the winter semester 2022/23 in one of the following fields of study can apply for The Scholarship: Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Computational Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering-Sound Engineer, Geodesy, Computer Science, Information Engineering and Computer Science, Mathematics, Molecular Biology, Physics, Software Engineering and Management, Environmental Systems Science/ natural sciences-technology or chemical engineering. At first, in addition to enrollment in one of the above fields of study, a CV and a cover letter, the high school diploma with distinction is decisive. In total, the twelve selected scholarship recipients can receive a total of 8,000 euros over a period of 24 months if they can provide the corresponding proof of performance. “We are very pleased with Huawei’s commitment to promoting our young talents. Many youth programs
In addition to the Graz University of Technology, the “Seeds for the Future Scholarship” was also awarded to master’s students from the Vienna University of Technology. In addition, Huawei and the ÖJAB (Young Workers’ Movement of Austria) have been cooperating for 10 years for housing promotion. The contract was extended only at the beginning of this year.

The knowledge transfer and networking program “Seeds for the Future” for technically interested students from all over Austria also enters its eighth edition this year: As in previous years, Huawei offers participants lectures, exciting workshops and ideas. Topics such as 5G, artificial intelligence and cloud computing. But the “Seeds for the Future” program also focuses on intercultural issues and exchange with students from all over the world. The application period for the November 2022 program will begin in the fall on the Huawei University website.
