NFT Sales Improved in November, Up 22% on October Sales – BAYC Floor Above Cryptopunks

NFT sales were higher in the past 30 days as $568.19 million worth of collectible digital coins were sold last month, about 22.37% higher than the previous month. The number of NFT buyers decreased by 12.83% last month and the number of NFT transactions decreased by 27.09% compared to the number of NFT transactions in the previous month.
Of the $568.19 million in NFT sales, $443.55 million of those sales were Ethereum-based NFTs. Sales of Ethereum-based NFTs increased by 45.99% compared to last month, according to statistics from cryptoslam.io.
The biggest month-over-month increase in NFT sales came from the Arbitrum blockchain NFT sales, which were up 46.83%. Among Ethereum and Arbitrum based NFT sales, Fantom sales rose 43.58% over the previous month.
Blockchains that saw significant month-over-month declines include Cardano NFT sales at 54.98%, BNB at 49.21%, Polygon NFT sales at 66.35%, and Ronin’s NFT sales at 54.76% . Sales of Avalanche-based NFTs also fell 49.32% from the previous month.
Last month, BAYC was the top selling NFT collection, taking in $64,907,645 in the last 30 days. The Art Gobblers raised $57.18 million and the Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) NFTs raised $29.14 million.
Of the top 40 NFT collections in terms of sales, Meebits saw the highest increase in 30 days. Meebits revenue increased 172.85% this month to $2.53 million. The most expensive NFT sold in the past month was Bored Ape Yacht Club #8,633, which sold for $953,000 12 days ago.
BAYC #8,633 was followed by BAYC #1,268, which sold for $923K six days ago, and BAYC #232, which sold for $908K six days ago. The five most expensive NFTs sold in the last 30 days were BAYC NFTs, and the sixth highest selling was Cryptopunk #8,191, which sold for $438,000 about 26 days ago.
