Despite a crypto and NFT sector at half-mast, the watchmaker Timex has announced the launch of a customizable watch collection featuring an NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC).
Holders of a non-fungible BAYC token will indeed be able to adjust a Timex watch that will display the NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club on the dial held by the owner of the custom watch as part of this operation, which will involve a total of 500 watches.
“Don’t leave your monkey’s wrist exposed. Reserve yours now. Anyone can get the pass and secure their right to one of the 500 creations, but only BoredApeYC and MAYC holders can make their set.
You have a unique monkey, now make your unique watch. Start with your Ape carefully printed on the dial, then choose an iconic Timex watch case in polished gold, rose gold, silver or matte black. The choice is yours. Engrave on the back of your case an image of a monkey you’re holding or your monkey’s unique token number.
Go crazy with bracelets. Choose between classic stainless steel bracelets and monkey-inspired designs to complete your totally unique IRL digital watch and clock set.
We’ll be switching to the metaverse soon. The Timex Forge opens on December 16. Don’t miss your chance to participate in this unique and limited collaboration. Learn more at https://timex.daz3d.com.

An original marketing operation that comes at a cost, of course, to personalize a Timex watch with an NFT BAYC, the non-fungible token holder must first obtain a NFT Clockwork Forge Pass sold for 2 ETHor about $2500 at the current Ethereum price of $1263.
The sale of NFTs Timepiece Forge Pass started at https://timex.daz3d.com.
In mid-December, NFT Forge Pass holders will be able to design their own watch on the TIMEX website.
Timex NFT Bored Ape watches should ship next in the second quarter of 2023 they will also be accompanied by a digital version of the watch.
This isn’t the first collaboration between a mainstream brand and NFT’s BAYC, last August Mars went on sale with NFT’s M&M themed Bored Ape Yacht Club candies, click here to read our review.
